Our on-site interpreters are all Polish native speakers, with excellent linguistic and communication skills, local knowledge and cultural expertise. We have experience in different areas, covering such events as trade talks, fairs, negotiations or presentations.

We specialise in consecutive interpreting (interpreter listens to one party at a time and conveys short fragments of conversation), which is the most suitable method of communication for small groups and face-to-face meetings. As simple as reliable, consecutive interpreting gives the Client a chance to benefit fully from interpreter's cultural advice.

Depending on the nature of assignment, we will choose the most suitable interpreter to address your communication needs. We offer two service levels:

General Business Interpreting

This service is suitable for most types of business meetings. It is most likely your event will fall into this category. We recommend this service for such events as:

• business meetings
• negotiations
• networking events
• trade talks
• employee inductions
• training sessions
• presentations
• interviews
• casual meetings

We always ask for a short description of the event and, if possible, provision of materials, which could be beneficial to the interpreter and help us appoint the right person.

Specialised Interpreting

Depending on the scale and profile of the event as well as the level of linguistic difficulty of its content, you may want to use our Specialised Interpreting service. In this case we will appoint an expert in a narrow field of specialisation, experienced in covering similar assignments. Specialised Interpreting is most often chosen where jargon and specialised technical vocabulary stand a substantial part of the spoken content.

Booking the interpreter

As we co-operate with a limited number of selected interpreters it is advised to book the interpreter as soon you know the exact date and time of the event. Nevertheless, it is still possible to schedule an appointment at short notice. The booking procedure is very simple. We only ask you to sign the order form and return it via email or fax. This procedure applies to new Clients only.

Prices and payment

* General Business Interpreting

We charge £30 for the first hour of interpreting and £15 for every half an hour thereafter. Interpreter's travel time and expenses within Warsaw are free of charge. For assignments outside of Warsaw travel time is charged at £25 per hour (no minimum fee - exact time counts) and millage at 25p per mile.
£30 fee is charged for cancellations made less than 48 hrs prior to the assignment.

We require advance payment from any new Clients. We accept bank remittance to our UK bank account, credit and debit cards as well as PayPal. In emergencies we accept cash (only Bank of England notes or Euro)
We are VAT registered and all prices above are VAT exclusive (15%). We are a UK registered company, therefore you will find no issues reclaiming the VAT you were charged. Please note the VAT charged at 22% by translation agencies registered in Poland is hard to reclaim and in most cases increases the actual cost of service.
What is most important, you will know the exact price of the service in advance. There will be no hidden costs. The quoted price will not change unless you decide to extend the booking during the assignment.

* Specialised Interpreting

Prices are calculated individually. We co-operate with a number of freelance interpreters charging different rates, depending on their experience and prestige. We do not believe in one-price-fits-all. We focus on providing the best value for money, therefore we will always quote you with the best price currently available, basing on your interpreting needs and our available resources.

Transport

If you are attending a meeting outside of Warsaw we can help you plan your trip or arrange transport for you. In co-operation with one of our partner companies, we offer transport services at reasonable rates. The driver will take you from your hotel directly to the place of destination and back. If it is possible for the interpreter to travel with you, above mentioned interpreter's millage will not be charged. You will know the exact fare before the assignment. Transport costs show on one invoice along with the interpreting service, which makes the payment hassle free, enable you to deduct any costs incurred and lets you forget about having to carry enough Polish currency. Depending on your needs and the number of passengers, we can provide various vehicles. The rate starts at 75p per mile.
